The Principal Business Analyst (Capacity Planning) will work within a dynamic team to ensure that the Clinical Business Intelligence project deliverables are of a high quality and will take on specific business requirements and ensure proposed solutions align to the overall design and objectives of the CBI initiative and SCHHS performance objectives.

The Clinical Business Intelligence project is maturing the data warehouse solution for the SCHHS to ensure foundational infrastructure and data designs better enable a repeatable reporting regime and to automate data sources and present consistent report access and outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

In collaboration with the key stakeholders, plan and deliver business and information analysis on budget and in accordance with project program.

Apply appropriate information modelling and data modelling methodologies.

Lead and work collaboratively with a wide range of Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service staff at all levels, including conducting stakeholder workshops.

Document current and future state business processes, ensuring alignment between the information requirements and Information and Communication Technology (ICT) specifications (ieMR).

Manage and maintain a repository of information models and reference data in accordance with project documentation management policies and procedures.

Supervise and conduct the analysis of existing and future business processes.

Lead and conduct needs and gap analysis including specialist advice to ensure successful transition from current to future states.

Remuneration based pro rata on equivalent full-time value up to $138,841 p.a. comprising salary rates: $4,346.10 – $4,664.30 p.f. employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (AO7) (temporary full-time position available asap until 31/12/2019).
