About the Company:
Riverside Dental has been established for 10 years at the end of 2019. We are passionate about helping all of our patients achieve the best oral health. Our highly – experienced team specialise in a variety of areas including general dentistry, dental implants, cosmetic services, dental sedation, and oral surgery. We recently have had a hygienist join our team and are looking too grown and enhance the hygiene department. Our surgery is a great all-in-one dental practice for our patients and use EXACT software.
Our modern boutique style dental practice is located in beautiful Noosa on the Sunshine Coast. We also have a sister practice at Sippy Downs also located on the Sunshine Coast. Our team is friendly, committed to excellence and ready to welcome our new Practice Manager.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Lead by example and coach team to provide exceptional patient experiences.
Reception duties to maintain focus on a productive schedule that supports dentists and hygienist as they deliver high quality patient care and exceptional experiences.
Work closely with both the owner of the practice and the manager of our sister practice to jointly co-ordinate the successful running of both practices.
Work within budget guidelines to maintain supported office profitability.
Foster strong relationships with the staff to ensure a safe place to work
Manage the performance and development of staff to ensure retention, creating a positive working environment.
Timely resolution of patient and staff issues and concerns
Manage accounts receivables including timely and accurate insurance claim processing and patient billing.
Coordinate daily team huddles and team meetings
Serve as the point person for office management duties including:
Office cleaning and maintenance
Verify practice invoices
Verify and submit payroll
Assist with Clinical and non-clinical supplies ordering
Schedule team members to ensure adequate shift coverage and facilitate requests for time off.
Maintain protocols and guidelines as they relate to patient privacy and team member safety
Assist in the interviewing, on-boarding and training of new hires.
Current Drivers Licence.
Dental background is essential and the applicant should have previous experience in a practice/practice coordination/management position.
Sound clinical experience.
Reliability, well presented.
Willingness to grow and learn.
Dynamic, motivated and passionate about dental health.
Skills in the effective management of a team.
The ability to maintain effective work relationships and in an environment which is often pressured.
Demonstrated strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to communicate at all levels.
Demonstrated management skills such as leadership, staff development, and conflict resolution.
