STEPS Group Australia is a National Not for Profit organisation passionate about empowering individuals and communities through their commitment to make a difference by providing opportunity. We are seeking passionate Trainers to deliver programs that provide long term unemployed youth with skills to gain employment.
You will be responsible for delivering training and networking with businesses across various industries to assist students with gaining skills and industry experience needed to achieve and maintain sustainable employment.
The Successful Applicant
To be considered for this opportunity you must meet the following criteria:
Hold a current TAE40116 or TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (incl LLN unit)
Demonstrate experience delivering training to a youth audience
Have an understanding of the issues facing unemployed youth as well as an understanding of employer and workplace expectations
Have confident computer and technology abilities including touch screen devices
Hold a current Working with Children check
Have an AFP National Police clearance (or be willing to undergo and satisfy an AFP Police check)
Applicants must be available to facilitate the courses on a casual as-needs basis, including travel to various locations throughout the Sunshine Coast.
