Noosa Beach House Restaurant & Bar by Peter Kuruvita is located at Sofitel Noosa Pacific Resort, one of Australia’s leading five star resorts, and located in the heart of Hastings Street.
The restaurant is looking to expand the kitchen of talented chefs, and is on the search for a passionate and driven, Chef De Cuisine.
The responsibilities of this role include:
Managing daily food preparation, production and implementation of menus
Assisting the Head Chef to control costs by minimizing spoilage, utilizing food surpluses and portion control.
Work in conjunction with service teams to ensure quality product and service to guests
Oversee the kitchen team in the absence of the Head Chef
Liaise with restaurant employees regarding the availability of menu items, additions to the menu any relevant changes.
Operate the outlet expenses at an acceptable food cost and staff cost, according to the financial budget in conjunction with the Head Chef
Ensuring that all food in the culinary department is prepared and served according to the standards set by yourself and the Head Chef
3 years experience in a similar role amongst luxury offerings
Bachelor degree or similar in Hospitality Management advantageous
Experience is developing teams
Dedication to providing and outstanding guest experience
Have great communication skills and ability to develop a motivated cohesive brigade
