An opportunity exists for a Business Service Manager who will be responsible for the financial and business management of the Mental Health and Addiction Service. The role will work closely with and effectively manage a complex range of stakeholders to influence decisions and drive financial and commercial performance and improvement in Mental Health and Addiction Service. The post holder will also be responsible for overseeing and managing the Mental Health and Addiction Service sustainability and improvements agenda.

Key Responsibilities:

As a member of the Service Group Management Team provide leadership and advice in relation to strategic and operational management of financial resources, human resources, quality initiatives and general administration in line with the Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service Strategic Plan.

Provide authoritative business management advice to the Service Group Management Team, performance meetings, other senior management, cost centre managers and other stakeholders. Including advice and support for the implementation and maintenance of business planning initiatives.

Assume accountability for the management and professional leadership of the Administrative staff within MHAS, including HR oversight and recruitment processes.

Remuneration value up to $11 570 p.m., comprising salary between $4346.10 – $4664.30 p.f., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (AO7) (temporary full time postition commencing June 2019 for up to 6 months with possibility of extension, 76 hrs p.,f.).
