Full-Time Accountant – Quality Manager – Sunshine Coast

We are looking for someone to join our team on the beautiful Sunshine Coast as an experienced Accountant. At Evolve Online Bookkeeping, we aim to provide our clients with the information and assistance to make their lives easy and make informed and timely business decisions. It is our aim that our service exceeds our clients expectations.
This role is all about providing optimal client service through the provision of quality, timely and cost effective accounting and business services. You are the quality and client manager. You will be responsible for building strong relationships with our clients, providing quality reports and continually looking for ways to add value. The role also has a strong support and training element, where you will assist our team of bookkeepers in technical training and guidance and review their work. At times client training on Xero will also fall within the scope of the role.
Manage a client base effectively to meet deadlines and targets
Supervise team members
Completing analytical and technical reviews of the clients management reports and Xero files ensuring a high level of quality & accuracy
Onboard new clients and provide optimal customer service engagement
Provide training and support to our clients in Xero
Provide technical training and support to our bookkeeping team
Work with our clients accountants to provide high quality data and management accounts.
Diploma or higher accounting qualification
Solid knowledge and application of accounting principles
Demonstrated experience in Financial Statement preparation (ideally previous work at a public practice accounting firm)
Understanding and application of tax regimes to enable correct treatment of transactions, including BAS, GST, FBT and CGT
High level of communication skills – verbal and written
Extensive computer literacy; advanced experience in Xero highly regarded
Workflow Management – be able to manage team workflow and completion of work to ensure deadlines are met
Excellent attention to detail
Experience in client service and contact
Demonstrated ability to manage a team to meet targets and deadlines
